Swimming

Swimming activities at Camp Gan Israel are planned with all the necessary safety considerations and precautions.

Jr Campers

Jr Camper supervised water play will take place in small groups at our camp location, using inflatable pools, slides and other water toys and games.

The water play activities will also include sprinklers, bubbles, spray bottles and water toys

Jr Campers water play takes place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday of camp. On these days, please send your child with a bathing suit and towel. 

Division 1 & 2

Our swim program takes place at the Columbia Swim Center in Sunnyvale. We have exclusive access during our swim time ensuring absolute safety with our small group size and familiar staffing. Our pool staff are chosen based on their experience and safety records. Campers are tested at the beginning of each week. Non/beginner swimmers are provided with life jackets to allow everyone the chance to participate safely.

The counselors will assist your child in re-applying sunscreen before they swim.



Campers who choose to not join in the pool will enjoy activities in the adjacent Columbia Park.
