As part of our commitment to serving our entire community, CKids Camp Gan Israel offers scholarship discounts to families who are unable to afford the full tuition rates. Available funds are limited, so please consider your needs very carefully when applying for financial aid.

All scholarships are handled in a sensitive manner, with absolute confidentiality.

The following is important information regarding the scholarship process:

• Deadline. The Final deadline for scholarship applications is Monday, December 9, 2024. Applications received late may not be accepted. 
• Discounts. No other discounts are allotted to scholarship recipients. Scholarship awards supersede and disqualify all other discounts.
• Deposit. In order for your application to be processed, you must include a valid credit card with your camp registration. If you are not satisfied with the committee's decision, your card will not be charged and all deposits will be returned in full.
• Tax Returns. All Scholarship applications must include a copy of your 2023 tax returns. If you do not yet have your 2023 returns ready please contact our office for instructions.

Scholarship Application Process:

Please follow this guide carefully to ensure that your application is processed.

1. Complete a CKids Camp Gan Israel Registration form. In order for your application to be processed, you must include a valid credit card with your camp registration. If you are not satisfied with the committee's decision, your card will not be charged and all deposits will be returned in full. Scholarships forms that are not accompanied by registration forms will not be considered.
2. Complete the Camp Gan Israel Scholarship application. Application is available here.
3. Submit your 2023 tax returns. Tax returns can be emailed to rabbiber@mvchabad.com or faxed to (650) 332-9062. You can also submit this information directly to our office. If you do not have your 2023 returns available, please contact our office for instructions.
4. Scholarship committee reviews applications. The committee will meet to review your application and will award scholarships based on each individual case and the limitations of the scholarship fund.
5. Receive notification of Scholarship decisions. Following the decision of the scholarship committee, you will be notified by email of the decision. You must respond to the CKids office before the included deadline in order to accept the scholarship. If you are not satisfied with the committee's decision, your card will not be charged and all deposits will be returned in full.
